  5. NHS staff stung by parking price hikepublished at 10:05 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2017

    Harry Parkhill
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

Staff at Lincolnshire's hospitals will have to pay more to park at work from today.

For some workers, prices will rise by more than a third.

The cost of a day permit will also go up to £1.20.

ULHT says difficult financial times means they've had to raise the cost rather than reduce patient services.

    Quote Message

It's wrong that porters, HCSW’s, housekeepers etc have to pay for parking, especially given public sector pay cap, this means it’s yet another reduction in their wages.

The crash happened at Horsington last November.
