    That's it from me today.

We'll be back from 08:00 tomorrow with more updates from across the county as they happen.

In the meantime, breaking news, sport and travel updates will continue right here throughout the night.

Meanwhile, I'll leave you with five things we've learned today:

  2. This evening's Lincolnshire weather forecastpublished at 17:53 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

  3. Is this Lincolnshire's most Christmassy house?published at 17:49 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Scott Dalton
    Presenter, BBC Radio Lincolnshire

If you haven't driven down Louth Road in Wragby at Christmas, I suggest you do so now because 81-year-old local resident Derek Turner has once again outdone himself with his festive display:

    Wragby lights

Derek's been taking his Christmas lights to the next level for about 12 years now, decorating his house with lights, animals, Santa - and even a dinosaur.

There's a donation box just outside where admirers can put in a few bob, but the money doesn't go on Derek's electric bill, it instead goes to St Barnabas Hospice. Last year he made £1,139!

Why does he do it? Derek tells me it's just to see the joy on children's faces when they stop by for a look.

  4. Male domestic abuse victims urged to speak outpublished at 17:38 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Hope Bolger
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

Men in Lincolnshire who are victims of domestic abuse are being encouraged by the police to come forward.

    Domestic abuseImage source, Lincolnshire Police

The Lincolnshire force says of the 220 applications to their Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme, only one involves a man as a potential victim.

The Home Office reports that only 10% of male victims will tell the police about partner abuse, compared to 27% of women.

As well as encouraging possible victims to step forward, the police want friends and family to speak up if they believe someone they know is at risk.

  5. BBC Weather Watchers: Rainbow sunrise caught on camerapublished at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

  6. Animal rights protesters arrested at Spalding abattoirpublished at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

Four people have been arrested during an animal rights protest in Pinchbeck, near Spalding.

The protesters were outside the Woodhead Brothers abattoir on Brunel Road.

A dispersal order has been put in place until 20:00 tonight to prevent harassment of the public and staff, police say.

    Quote Message

  7. Tonnes of soil removed from mustard gas find sitepublished at 17:11

Between two and three tonnes of soil have been removed from Lincolnshire woodland where canisters containing deadly mustard gas were discovered in October.

While some traces of mustard gas agent were identified in the soil at Roughton Woods, no additional chemical weapons were found on site, according to an update from East Lindsey District Council.

Any soil found to be contaminated at the site near Woodhall Spa was removed and taken for safe disposal at the Porton Down facility, the council adds.

A total of 200 soil samples have been taken for analysis and East Lindsey District Council says more details about those samples will be published shortly.

The investigation team did find some spent ordnance on the site which is being removed, according to the council.

The canisters found at Roughton Moor are believed to be from an RAF station and military base which was on the site from 1942 until it closed in the late 1960s.

Mustard gas was used as a weapon during World War One and outlawed by the Geneva Protocol of 1925.

The affected area in Roughton Moor Woods remains cordoned off as a precaution and local residents are being asked to avoid the woodland until further notice.

  8. Listen: 'Pre-loading' linked to violence and riskspublished at 17:00 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

A campaign linking so-called "pre-loading" - drinking alcohol before going on a night out and drinking more, external - to violence and risk-taking behaviour has been launched by North East Lincolnshire Council.

Statistics show that about half of all crime committed in North East Lincolnshire is linked to alcohol, according to the authority.

The culture of drinking alcohol before going on a night out is "rapidly" becoming more common as prices of alcohol rise at licensed venues, the council adds as it asks people to drink more responsibly.

But consultant to the pub trade Michael Kheng says people who enjoy "pre-loading" are unlikely to take much notice:

    Harry Parkhill
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

Most people think they'd never fall for a scam and that's exactly what Jackie Whitehead, from Eagle, near Lincoln, thought until she got a call from someone claiming to be from the police.

    Jackie

As a result, she nearly lost £5,000 to a conman who claimed to be a police officer investigating fraud.

Jackie got in touch with the BBC in Lincolnshire after it happened because she wanted to warn others:

    Quote Message

It's very vivid in my mind because it's made me feel very vulnerable. You can't believe these people were so low that they would attack elderly people."

    CiderImage source, Lincolnshire Police

Members of the Community Alcohol Partnership (CAP) took two 16-year-old police volunteers to carry out a "test purchase operation".

Of the seven stores visited, only one sold alcohol to those volunteers and police say they're "encouraged" by the operation's findings:

    Quote Message

It shows the CAP message is working and retailers overall are operating responsibly. However, it's still disappointing they were able to make one purchase."

Kim Enderby, Licensing Sergeant, Lincolnshire Police

He added further sanctions are being considered against the store that failed.

Three witnesses gave evidence against Julian Roberts to a panel of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Allegations included smacking a colleague's bottom, asking another to "wear something sexy" and on various occasions trying to hold a colleague's hand.

    Quote Message

As you can see above, seven years ago today it was a lot whiter in Louth.

But looking at today's somewhat chilly forecast for Lincolnshire, who knows what's just around the corner?

  16. Report fears over vulnerable exploitation, council urgespublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Sharon Edwards
    Political Reporter, BBC Radio Lincolnshire

We've had more reaction to the new report from Lincolnshire Adult Safeguarding Board looking into financial exploitation of vulnerable people in the county by criminals.

According to the report, over 30 cases of people with mental health issues, learning disabilities and drug abuse problems being forced to hand over money have been identified in one Lincolnshire market town.

Despite some successful court cases, the report concludes there were many missed opportunities.

Earlier, Lincolnshire Police apologised to victims saying the force hadn't reacted quick enough in some instances.

Now, Glen Garrod, executive director for adult care and public health at the County Council, says anyone with worries or suspicions should report them:

    Quote Message

Maybe there are some undesirable visitors on a regular basis going into that property or they might be hearing things that cause them concern..."

The newborn - one of about 1,700 pups at the reserve so far this year - has also caused a stir on social media, with people commenting on how it stands out from the crowd.

Mark Bentley tweeted: "The little black pup looks simply stunning."

While Emily Cunningham wrote: "Wow!!! A black Grey Seal pup! Spotted amongst the 1200 fluffy white pups at Donna Nook."
