James Smith said he invented the game, which involves guessing the title of a film, TV programme or song from the first letters alone, five years ago.

His family and friends enjoyed his prototype so he had a go at making a real version.

After years of work, the game is now being sold at national toy retailer Smyths Toys, external.

Daniel Fox, 29, of Humber Road in Coventry (pictured), was jailed for four years and 10 months after pleading guilty at Leicester Crown Court, to three counts of blackmail in January this year.

One offence involved attempting to blackmail a Lincolnshire man by claiming he'd kidnapped his wife.

He called the victim, using a technology to make it appear that it was his wife's phone number, and demanded money and threatened to hurt her if he didn't pay up.

He was found out when the victim's wife returned home while he was still on the phone.

    Quote Message

I would urge people to remain vigilant, particularly given the technology that is available to criminals to commit these offences. If you or anybody else receives phone calls or communications demanding money or personal details, even if it appears to be using the phone number or account of someone you trust, always exercise caution."

If you had a broken arm you'd go to a hospital or GP. It's the same thing with mental illness, you're unwell or possibly on the way to it. Just speak to someone, it's ok to have a negative thought and go, 'Hang on a minute, I'm not too great, can we have a chat?' with anyone, especially a professional."

The Doncaster cabinet agreed to enter into a two-year agreement with the Grimsby authority to deliver "enhanced environmental crime enforcement" on its behalf.

Doncaster's services are currently carried out by private firm Kingdom Security, who issue fixed penalty notices for parking, littering, fly-tipping and enforcing public space protection orders.

A report before the council said it was expected that contractors would issue at least 6,000 fixed penalty notices in the first 12 months for North East Lincolnshire Council.

It said the current clean-up cost for fly-tipping alone in Doncaster is about £500,000 and the joint service would "give further scope to deliver value for money".

Research by the University of Manchester shows the unit, at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre, is the busiest outside London.

It's treated nearly 10,000 patients in the past six years, many of whom will have been from Lincolnshire.

Adam Brooks, the consultant in charge, says even if patients have to travel further to get there, their chances of survival are greater:

Bringing a patient to the expertise is far more important than that slightly extra length of journey. So, yes, we want people here as quickly as possible, but that extra 20 minutes, half an hour, or up to an hour doesn't make a difference compared with going to their local Accident and Emergency department."
