    Lincolnshire Police are appealing for help to find a man who has been missing for several weeks.

    It's believed 52-year-old Peter Barber, from Mablethorpe, has stayed in a B&B in the town recently.

    Anyone with information is being asked to contact the police.

    Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is backing calls to keep the Red Arrows in Lincolnshire and says he'd keep RAF Scampton open if Labour wins the next general election.

    RAF Scampton is due to close by 2022 following an announcement earlier this summer.

    It prompted outcries from local councillors, residents and MPs about the future of the site.

    The station, which was also home to 617 Squadron as they prepared for the Dambusters mission in World War Two, has housed the Red Arrows since 2000.

  7. Nearly 100 homes without power in Lincolnshirepublished at 07:19 British Summer Time 21 September 2018

    About 40 homes are without power in the Great Limber, Grasby and Keelby areas, with supplies now expected to be back by midday.

    A further 30 properties are without power in the Usselby/Claxby area, with electricity due to be back on by about 09:45.

    There are also 20 homes in North Thoresby without power and four properties in Branston/Bracebridge Heath.

    The latter are expected to be back on by 10:30. No time has been given for North Thoresby as yet.

    The Environment Agency has moved 600 white-clawed crayfish from the River Witham to chalk streams in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

    A Lincolnshire solicitor has told the BBC that thousands of migrant workers have still not been given enough details about their right to stay in the UK after we leave the European Union.

    Louis Harman from Chatterton's Solicitors says he is inundated with calls from workers, desperate to stay in the place they now call home.

    The Prime Minister has reassured all EU citizens living in Britain that they will be granted the right to permanently stay.

    But, the wait for further details is proving anxious for some, Mr Harman said.

    He wants the government to give a clear message to migrants living here.

  17. Former councillor misses licensing reviewpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 20 September 2018

    A former Gainsborough councillor failed to turn up at a review of her hotel's alcohol licence, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

    Sharon Hopkinson, owner of the White Hart Hotel in the town, resigned from the council earlier this month after being convicted of drug offences.

    She is due to be sentenced later this year.

    In an email to the council she stated she was ill and unable to attend.

    Police have called for the licence to be revoked.

    Sgt Kim Enderby, from Lincolnshire Police's Alcohol Licensing Team, says officers had been called to a disproportionately high number of incidents at the White Hart.

  19. Photographer jailed for sexually touching boypublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 20 September 2018

    A former photographer's been jailed after admitting to sexually touching a young boy.

    Lincoln Crown Court was told how Scott Derek Rudge, 29, had downloaded almost 50,000 indecent images of children from the internet.

    Some of the images were of children aged between two and three-years-old.

    Rudge, of no fixed address, also filmed himself secretly touching a young boy inappropriately.

    He was sentenced to five years in prison and placed on the sex offenders' register for life.
