    Tickets are on sale now, the first draw is on Saturday 27 October with prizes of up to £25,000.

    A county council contractor which has beencriticised for mistakes looks set to have its contract extended.

    Serco has a £70m contract to handle finances, IT and HR for the council until 2020.

    But, it's been hit by a raft of problems and mistakes.

    Serco has been fined for paying employees, including teachers and firefighters, wrongly and has apologised for poor performance.

    The council is now recommending the company continues to provide these services until the end of March 2022, with some services being brought back in-house.

    The leader of the council, Martin Hill, says Serco is now meeting the performance targets and offering a good service.

    There's concern that businesses in Lincolnshire may not be fully prepared for the impact of a "no deal" Brexit.

    Figures released by the Federation of Small Businesses, external look at Brexit from an East Midlands perspective and include businesses based in Lincolnshire.

    They reveal that over a third haven't planned for Brexit despite the potential of its impact - and more than half of businesses across the country say it will create extra costs or paperwork.

    Nationally, just one in seven small firms have planned for a "no-deal" Brexit, despite big concerns for the future economy, the figures reveal.

    East Lindsey District Council is the latest local government body looking at boosting its finances, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

    One of the proposals being looked at is setting up a private housing company.

    Council leader Craig Leyland is set to ask for £300,000 at the next executive board meeting to look into projects to make more money.

    They're thought to include buying a private housing company or using the council's land to build affordable housing.

    East Lindsey District Council has seen funding cuts of £7m since 2010 and will need to find a further £3.7m by 2021.

    The Environment Agency has apologised after residents in Boston were left "terrified" when water seeped around the town's flood barrier, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

    Lincolnshire County Council has criticised the agency for a lack of communication and "playing down" the incident, which happened last week.

    Officials say the level of flooding and the risk of damage was "relatively low" following piling work as part of the flood barrier project.

    West Lindsey District Council wants people to take control of community assets like the play park, gym and shop post office at the site.

    The Ministry of Defence announced in the summer it plans to close RAF Scampton by 2022.

    A woman's been left with serious injuries after she was hit by a car in Grantham this morning.

    It happened on Alexandra Road at around 06:20 and involved one car and a pedestrian.

    The woman was taken to hospital for treatment, her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

    A man has been seriously assaulted during a burglary at a pub in Swinderby.

    It happened at about 07:00 yesterday at The Plough on the High Street.

    A man in his 40s, who lives at the property, was badly injured and remains in hospital.

    A fire which broke out four days ago at a recycling plant in Lincolnshire is still smouldering.

    More than 60 firefighters worked to tackle the blaze at at its height at the Mid UK Recycling plant in Ancaster.

    The Environment Agency is monitoring the site to ensure there's no pollution of water from the run-off.

    The company has blamed a battery wrongly placed into recycled waste, but it will take several weeks to know the official cause.
