Health bosses met with the county's health scrutiny panel earlier, and said the sites in Skegness, Stamford, Louth, Boston and Lincoln will improve services.

However, they were unable to guarantee the centres in Skegness and Louth would be open for 24 hours a day.

The panel asked to see more detailed plans in January.

    Quote Message

They say they're going to be open for a minimum 12 hour period, but we're concerned some areas will be reduced and we're not happy about it. We want clarity, what are the opening hours going to be?"

Humberside Police officers will also use the spray, known as the Offender Tagging Device or OTD, to identify motorcyclists who ride in an anti-social manner in Hull.

All 75 PCSOs in the city have been equipped with the hand-held spray, which will be used on riders or motorcycles.

The OTD spray can be used to identify a suspect if they're arrested at a later date and it has already led to one stolen bike being recovered, the force says.

The number of motorbikes being stolen in Hull has dropped by more than 76% in the last two years, Humberside Police adds.

The firm, which looks after Lincolnshire's water supplies, say the repairs are costing £15m a year.

It comes as the BBC has learned none of the wet wipes sold as 'flushable' have so far passed the water industry's official tests.

Wipe manufacturers told the BBC they use a different disintegration test, and blamed the blockages on people putting non-flushable wipes down the toilet.
