Funding pot for Lincolnshire potholespublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2018
Lincolnshire has been given almost £14m to carry out road repairs across the county.
The Department of Transport has confirmed the funding, which forms part a wider pot of money for the East Midlands.
This year the region will have been given £151 million pounds to repair highways.
Quote MessagePotholes are a huge problem for all road users, and too often we see issues occurring at the same place time after time. That is why the government is investing more in improving our roads than at any time before."
Jesse Norman, Roads Minister
Earlier this year, South Fen Road in Tongue End, Bourne, was branded the worst road in the country for the number of potholes, cracks and muddy verges.
