A police operation is under way after eight people were seen running from a lorry container in Lincolnshire.

Two people have been detained on suspicion of entering the UK illegally under the Immigration Act.
A National Police Air Service helicopter is helping search for the other six.

Boards are being erected around the new Everyman cinema on the Cornhill.
On the High Street work is starting to convert the old BHS store into a new Boots shop.

Police are appealing for information after a rare Marsh Harrier was shot and killed.
Image source, RSPCAThe bird was discovered alive by a dog walker on the bank of the River Humber near Barton-Upon-Humber on 9 September.
She reported it to the RSPCA and the police were alerted.
An X-ray revealed that the bird, which later died of its injuries, had been shot.
All police enquiries have so far drawn a blank and officers are appealing for information from the public.

Almost £200,000 has been awarded to Macmillian Cancer Support in Lincolnshire.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving after a cyclist died following a collision near Sleaford.
The emergency services were called to the A607 at Leadenham near Troops garage at about 17:30 yesterday.
Lincolnshire Police said the arrested man had been released under investigation.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw either a black BMW car or the cyclist in the area at the time.

There's hope Lincolnshire will soon attract thousands of tourists from Holland and Germany.
Cycle England, a new collaboration between Visit Lincoln and Welcome to Yorkshire, is promoting the areas as the perfect places for cycling holidays.
Visit England has put £1m towards the project.
It's highlighting routes around the Wolds, from the Humber to the Wash, and in Lincoln.

From today you will be charged to park at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston.

It's hoped it will work today in Boston and from tomorrow in Grantham.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust says it won't be relaunched in Lincoln until the end of the month.
The trust has apologised for the inconvenience over the last few weeks.

Lincolnshire Police will be meeting with the Border Force to discuss how to deal with migrants arriving in the county by boat.
Four Iranian men were arrested after they came ashore near Mablethorpe at the start of last month.
It's believed they entered the UK illegally.
