Police are appealing for information after a rare Marsh Harrier was shot and killed.
The bird was discovered alive by a dog walker on the bank of the River Humber near Barton-Upon-Humber on 9 September.
She reported it to the RSPCA and the police were alerted.
An X-ray revealed that the bird, which later died of its injuries, had been shot.
All police enquiries have so far drawn a blank and officers are appealing for information from the public.
Almost £200,000 has been awarded to Macmillian Cancer Support in Lincolnshire.
