Matt Warman, who also represents Skegness, said on social media that he'll do all he can to help around 50 people who will lose their jobs.

Boston Borough Council has said it's working with the Department for Work and Pensions to assist M&S employees from the Boston store.

    Quote Message

It is always a great shame when what many regard as a High Street institution moves away. Naturally it is also a worrying time for staff and customers who have remained loyal to the brand for a long time. This is a decision taken at a national level by M&S, which is undergoing a major restructure. We will work hard to do all we can as a council to assist in filling this gap in the town centre.”

Cllr Michael Cooper, Leader of Boston Borough Council
