    Train services between Lincoln and Newark are back to normal after a lorry collided with a level crossing barrier earlier.

    Network Rail engineers have been to the crossing in the Collingham area and assessed the damage.

    They're now letting services travel along the route again.

    A unique Lincolnshire cinema is to expand.

    The Kinema in the Woods at Woodhall Spa is adding a third screen.

    The Kinema was originally a sports pavilion, but was converted to its current use after the hotel it served burnt down.

    Films in its main 260 seat auditorium have to be projected from behind the screen as roof beams block conventional projectors.

    The new screen is expected to open in the summer.

    One lane of the A46 near the Pennells Roundabout on Thorpe on the Hill is closed southbound following a crash.

    The collision happened just before 08:00 and involved a car and motorbike.

    Police are advising you to find an alternative route.

    Parking charges are back in place at Lincoln County Hospital from today.

    Charges had been abandoned after a new system failed in November.

    Technical problems with the trust's numberplate recognition system lead to frustration for people trying to pay.

    The system was eventually turned off all together, but United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust says the issues have now been fixed.

    A video showing a member of staff taunting a male resident at the Cathedral Nursing Home in Lincoln has been described as "vile" and "inhumane".

    Allegations of abuse at the home, on Nettleham Road, are now being investigated by the Police, the Care Quality Commission and Lincolnshire County Council after the footage was leaked to the Lincolnshire Echo, external.

    West Midlands-based St Philips Care, which runs the home, says the video was made at least a year ago before it took over at the site and and a member of staff has been suspended.

    Lincolnshire Police say a woman has been interviewed under caution and the investigation is ongoing.

    A recent inspection report by the Care Quality Commission watchdog will be published in due course.

    Jonathan Heathorn's 95-year-old mother has been at the home for several years and has told BBC Radio Lincolnshire he's become concerned about how she's being looked after.

    He says he's sickened with the video which has been made public and thinks it's "vile and inhumane".

    People will soon be able to use part of a Lincolnshire canal which has been closed to boats for decades.

    The stretch at Grantham is going to be dredged for the first time in 90 years.

    The project is part of wider works to restore locks 14 and 15 of the canal.

    It's being carried out by the Canal and River Trust and the Grantham Canal Society.

    A service in Lincoln set up to help children of abusive parents is looking to open up a support centre in the city.

    In particular, the service helps youngsters who are caught in the crossfire of rowing or divorcing couples.

    The Children of Abusive Parents group is currently looking for a building in the city which can be turned into a centre.

    Sarah Squires, from the service, says staff want to offer a range of support:

    Police are appealing from witnesses after a group of youths was reportedly seen running from the scene of a fire at a packaging company on the Lincolnshire coast.

    Officers believe an arson attack was carried out at CFN Packaging Group at about 18:00 on Friday 25 January.

    Anyone who may have seen the youths is being urged to get in touch.

    Local fishing boats have been helping to search for the missing plane carrying a Premier League footballer and a pilot from North Lincolnshire.

    David Ibbotson, from Crowle near Scunthorpe, was flying the Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala across the channel when the plane vanished a week ago.

    A Lincolnshire MP is one of those supporting plans to avoid a "no deal" Brexit by postponing "Brexit Day".

    The UK is currently due to leave the EU on 29 March, but Grantham and Stamford Conservative MP, Nick Boles, wants to push that back to the end of December if the Prime Minister can't secure parliamentary approval for her withdrawal deal.

    It's being proposed by Yorkshire Labour MP Yvette Cooper and has the backing of senior Conservative backbenchers such as Nicky Morgan and Oliver Letwin.

    Mr Boles says it's important a no deal scenario is avoided:

    A Lincoln pub could be demolished to make way for student accommodation.

    Plans have been submitted to City of Lincoln Council to flatten the Golden Cross on the High Street.

    It would be replaced by a three-storey accommodation block with 47 bedrooms.

    Applicant Lomas Architecture Design and Development says although the pub is historically significant, its loss wouldn't be a detriment to the area.

    Greater Manchester Police officers have been criticised for the way they handled a disturbance following the match between Lincoln City and Bury at the weekend.

    Imps fans say a group of about 40 men surged into the away supporters' area - some of them throwing punches.

    Greater Manchester Police says CCTV footage of the incident will be reviewed today, but adds that officers swiftly stepped in to ease tensions after the match.

    However, Lincoln City fan John Bellshaw, who was at the match with his 11-year-old son, says the police could have done more:
