    Refurbishment work's due to begin on a Lincolnshire playhouse today - thanks to the support of local theatre-goers.

    Sleaford Little Theatre had a bid for Arts Council funding turned down, but enough money has been raised locally to start a revamp of the foyer.

  2. Police want to speak to this man after meat theftpublished at 10:25 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2019

    Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after two people stole a large amount of meat from shops in Market Rasen and Caistor.

    Both incidents happened on Wednesday January 30.

    Meat was taken first from the Co-Operative store on John Street, Market Rasen, and later at the Co-Op store on High Street, Caistor.

    One man has already been arrested in connection with the incident.

    John Adams Way is shut eastbound due to a crash.

    The closure runs between the A52 (Bargate Roundabout) and the A1138 South End.

    All roads going into Boston are heavily congested, make sure you give yourself plenty of extra time if you're driving through town.

    A Lincolnshire MP is expected to rejects calls to say whether he intends to stand at the next general election.

    The Grantham and Stamford Conservative Association is preparing to select its candidate and will tonight ask Nick Boles if he wants to be readopted.

    Mr Boles told the Sunday Times, external he will not reveal whether he intends to stand, saying he will make up his mind when he is fit and ready.

    He added he doesn't want to give the group the opportunity to deselect him

    Chairman Phillip Sagar says it's about getting ready for the next election.
