Detectives have released images of a man they want to identify in connection with the sexual assault, robbery and attempted rape of a woman in a bakery in east London.Just before 04:00 on 21 December last year, the 18-year-old woman was closing Ali’s Bagels on Cranbrook Road in Ilford after working overnight.
The suspect approached the door and said he knew the owner. When the woman opened the door to speak to him the suspect pushed his way in and dragged her to the back of the shop, where he sexually assaulted and tried to rape her.
He then held a pair of scissors to her throat and took £500 from her.The suspect is described as black man in his 30s, of medium build and with facial stubble.

Should e-cigarettes be available on the NHS?
E-cigarettes should be available on prescription, according to Public Health England (PHE).
The agency wants them to be prescribed on the NHS within the next few years because of how successful they have been in helping people give up smoking.
An independent review of the latest evidence, published by PHE, suggests at least 20,000 people a year are quitting with the help of e-cigarettes.
The report also says they are at least 95% less harmful than smoking.
