    Liverpool fans are starting to line the streets already.

    The city council is advising fans to line the full length of the route, as there will be no central focal point to the parade.

    After beginning at Allerton Maze, the bus will move along Queens Drive to the Fiveways roundabout and Rocket flyover before heading along:

    • Queens Drive
    • Mill Bank
    • West Derby Road
    • Islington
    • Leeds Street
    • The Strand

    Tens of thousands of Liverpool fans are expected take to the streets of the city to celebrate the club's historic Champions League win.

    Jurgen Klopp's team were crowned champions of Europe for a sixth time when they beat Spurs 2-0 in Madrid last night.

    Fans partied into the small hours of this morning and a huge clean up operation has been undertaken by the council ahead of the victory parade which is due to start at 16:00.

    The team will parade the trophy on an open-top bus through the city starting at Allerton Maze before heading along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street and The Strandand will finish at Blundell Street.
