    Hannah Barnes

Hannah said she enjoyed competing with her sister: "I came round the last corner and thought I might get a jersey today. Then she came round and we started laughing.

"It's great having her in the race and to catch up as I don't get to see her very often.

"It was a good, challenging course today and seeing all the schoolkids out on the side of the road was really great.

"But it's a really long tour, so you have to really focus on doing the best you can while keeping something back for the following days."

Their proud mum, Sue Barnes, said: "It's been great and it's hard to get over that so many people really want to see them.

"I don't think they realise how famous they are among the cycling community."

  20. Race nears Kettering conclusionpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 7 June 2017

    Graham McKechnie
    BBC Radio Northampton sport

I'm guessing we are about 10 minutes from the end of the race.

It's very windy here and the weather is not as nice as we've had in previous years.

Certainly the crowds are down on what we have seen in Kettering before, though the finish straight is still pretty well populated.
