    Martin Heath
    BBC Radio Northampton

Northamptonshire has played a big role in the Women's Tour since it started in 2014, and this year the whole race gets under way in Daventry.

Some of the world's top riders will set off from the Burton Memorial in the High Street at 11:00, completing a relatively sedate circuit out of the town centre and back again, before setting off on their way to Kettering where the first stage will end.

Thousands of spectators are expected along the route, especially at the Queen of the Mountains sections in Haselbech and Rockingham and the Sprints in Desborough and Oundle.
