Water supplies are returning to homes in Derbyshire.
However, Severn Trent said while supplies are returning, external to the Uppermoor and Somersal Herbert areas, near Ashbourne, and the Bamford area, near Buxton, there may still be pockets of customers who have intermittent water supply or low pressure.
Therefore the company is keeping two bottled water stations open at Shawcroft car park, in Ashbourne, and Sudbury Hall in Main Road, Sudbury, for people to come and collect water if they need it.
It is also continuing to deliver bottled water to vulnerable customers in the area.
Severn Trent said: "We’re so sorry that our customers have been affected this morning, and really are thankful for your understanding. We know how difficult it is to be without water and we really appreciate your patience while the system gets back to normal."

Derby engineering company Rolls-Royce has swung back into profit after a record loss in 2016.
It made a £4.9bn profit in 2017, compared to a £4.6bn loss in 2016 when it was hit by the costs of settling corruption cases and adverse currency moves.
In 2017 Rolls Royce delivered 483 large jet engines, compared with 357 in 2016.
It comes as the company also announced an engine fault that grounded planes at British Airways and other airliners will take "some years" to fix.
The aerospace giant said parts in its Trent 1000 engines were wearing out faster than expected but that it "had a solution" to the problem.
The company also hinted that it will take out some more layers of management as part of a shake-up.

Police have unblocked a badger sett in a disused quarry after finding all entrances except one barricaded with sticks and large rocks in Buxton.
Officers are now appealing for information after being told this has happened a number of times since the beginning of the year.
PC Emerson Buckingham, wildlife crime officer for Derbyshire Constabulary, said there are a number of reasons that the badger sett may be blocked.
He said someone may do it to bait it at a later date, gas can be used to kill badgers, a hunt may block a sett to stop a fox from hiding during a hunt, or it may be to discourage roaming badgers who are looking to live in a currently disused sett.
PC Buckingham said: "At this time there is no indication as to why this sett has been blocked and officers will continue to monitor the site."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Derbyshire Constabulary.

It came after Gloria de Piero, the Labour MP for Ashfield, told the debate the policy had worked well in Nottinghamshire, with a large proportion of surveyed victims saying they felt reassured.
