    A man has been arrested, external after allegedly threatening supermarket shoppers with a meat cleaver.

    Armed police rushed to Tesco in New Park Street, Leicester, at about 08:35 following reports of a man with a knife.

    The store was evacuated and a 37-year-old man from Leicester was detained on suspicion of affray.

    Police believe the item he was in possession of was a meat cleaver.

    Nobody was injured and the store has reopened.

    A remembrance service has taken place at Matlock's Hall Leys Park - despite the park being severely flooded a few days ago.

    About 2ft (0.6m) of water covered the ground on Friday but much of it has now receded - though some parts remain wet.

    The Nottingham leg of Ozzy Osbourne's UK and European tour has been postponed again - and will now take place almost two years after the original date.

    The legendary rocker was due to perform at the city's Motorpoint Arena on 1 February but this got pushed back to January 2020 after he was diagnosed with bronchitis.

    Now Osbourne has announced the tour has been delayed again - with the Nottingham date not taking place until 8 November 2020.

    He said: "I want to be 100% ready to come out and knock your socks off."

    Tickets for the original date remain valid but refunds are also available.

    Pupils are still unable to return to Killamarsh Junior School due to flooding in its boiler room.

    The school, in Sheffield Road, closed on Friday after 4ft (1.2m) of water entered the room the previous day.

    Clive Stanbrook, area manager for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, said the "quite unprecedented" widespread flooding had made it a very busy weekend for his team.

    "Across the county we've had about 250 extra calls since Friday than we would have done," he told BBC Radio Derby.

    "We've had about 16 rescues from vehicles - that's people driving into flood waters and disregarding road closure signs.

    "There were 28 people rescued from a holiday home site near Matlock and we assisted with the evacuation of Babington Hospital [in Belper].

    "It's been testing our resources and skills all through the weekend.

    "Things have now levelled off somewhat but it's still not ideal - and although it's probably not going to reach the levels of Friday, it's not going to get a lot better for quite a while yet."

    Former Leicester East MP Keith Vaz has announced he will not be standing for re-election.

    The Labour MP, who has represented his constituency for the past 32 years, was suspended from the Commons last month after he was found to have "expressed willingness" to buy cocaine for male prostitutes.

    Late last night, Mr Vaz said in a statement it had been "an honour and a privilege" to serve his constituents.

    Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said Mr Vaz had "made a substantial and significant contribution to public life".

    The party must now choose a new candidate in the constituency before Thursday's deadline.

    Flood warnings and alerts remain in place for several parts of the East Midlands after more heavy rain overnight.

    The Environment Agency has issued warnings for the River Idle in Retford, Eaton and Gamston, along with the River Trent at Barrow, Carlton, Castle Donington, Collingham, Girton, Swarkestone and Willington.

    Meanwhile, tributes are continuing to be paid to the former High Sheriff of Derbyshire, Annie Hall, who died when she was slept away by floods in Rowsley.

    There are still a handful of road closures in Derbyshire - including a stretch of the B5010 between Borrowash and Elvaston (pictured).
