More Tasers could be carried by Leicestershire Police after a survey of officers in the county.
The force, along with the Police Federation - which represents frontline officers - is asking how many want to carry one of devices.

It will also ask whether an officer has been assaulted in the past two years and if they feel having a Taser would have made them feel safer.
