    A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in New Parks, Leicester, on Sunday night.

    The victim, also in his 20s, was found in St Oswalds Road at 17:26 and taken to hospital.

    Police previously described the victim's injuries as serious, but he has since been discharged.

    The suspect remains in police custody.

    Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted while out jogging in Spondon last week.

    She was running through Brunswood Recreation Ground on the path between Reader Street and Rudyard Avenue at about 20:30 on Friday when she was attacked from behind.

    A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said officers were looking to speak to a person seen by the victim walking their dog at the time of the attack, and for any other potential witnesses to come forward.

    Robbers reportedly pretending to be police officers pushed their way into a home in Worksop before stealing a "large quantity" of cash, Nottinghamshire Police have said.

    A force spokesman said they were called to Lodore Road at about 18:15 on Saturday to reports of a robbery, and reminded residents to check the ID of anyone claiming to be an officer.

    Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a man's body in West Bridgford.

    Nottinghamshire Police were called to a property at Epperstone Court at about 14:20 on Sunday.

    The force said it was a "self-contained incident" in which those involved were believed to be known to each other.

    "We are not looking for any other persons at this time in connection with the death," said Det Insp Rich Monk.
