A man, who rediscovered his love of photography during lockdown, has had all his camera equipment stolen.
Bob White, 73, said he was sitting on a bench in Melton Country Park at about 12:45 on Friday when he was approached by a group of about seven teenagers on bicycles.
He said one of them who spoke to him about his bicycle, which was "obviously a distraction" as when he turned back to his camera it had gone.
Mr White, who had spent the last few months learning all about the features of his Nikon camera, had just been gifted new lenses by family members.
He runs a prostate cancer support group in Melton Mowbray and had recently used the camera to undertake a charity photo challenge for Prostaid.
Some of his photos had also featured during the weather on BBC national and regional news programmes.
He said: "I'm insured so I guess I'll get it replaced eventually but it's not the same, is it?
"I'd really got into it recently - I bought books on that particular camera and really studied it over the lockdown as something to do to occupy me but now it's gone."
Leicestershire Police has confirmed it is investigating the robbery.
Plans for a salary cap in League One and League Two are "unlawful and unenforceable" says the Professional Footballers Association.

A pub chain has said not all pubs should be "tarred with the same brush" and called on those not following rules to "buck up".
Castle Rock Brewery, which runs a number of pubs across Nottingham and beyond, has published an open letter, external warning against "demonising" and "scapegoating" the industry.
It and other establishments had "exceeded the guidelines" around keeping drinkers safe, the letter said.
But it recognised some pubs, bars and shops were "not behaving responsibly".
It comes amidst a discussions over whether the government will have to chose between pubs or schools.
The letter stated: "If there is a call to close establishments to make way for schools, we ask that it be irresponsibility run venues first and foremost, and that well-run pubs and bars are protected and supported both in rhetoric and in policy.
"Do not do further damage to an industry on its knees."

In her first interview since taking over the role, Clare James has called on the government to change the rules which were brought in after a spike in infection rates in areas of mainland Spain.
She said: "The Spanish market was 53% of our destinations, so the impact of a blanket quarantine on Spanish destinations is significant.
"The week the quarantine came in, we lost 38 flights that week - TUI and Jet2 are no longer flying to Spain so we are seeing a significant drop as a result of that blanket approach.
"What we'd like to see is something far more nuanced, a regional approach. The infection levels in Tenerife at the moment are half of what they are in the UK."
