Melton in Leicestershire has a higher coronavirus infection rate than Manchester, new figures have shown.
The borough's 19 new cases in the week to 30 July saw its rate jump from 17.6 cases per 100,000 people to 37.2 - the eighth highest rate in the UK. Manchester's rate for the same period was 34.3.
It comes after Greater Manchester became one of a number of areas in northern England to be subject to new lockdown measures.
The figures also showed the coronavirus infection rate is continuing to fall in Leicester and the borough of Oadby and Wigston - the last suburb outside of the city area to be released from the Leicester lockdown zone on Saturday.
In the city, the rate fell from 66.2 to 52.6, while Oadby and Wigston's rate dropped to 12.3, down from 42.1 the previous week.
The plan for 4,500 jobs at the Derby site is described by leaders as a "massive boost" for the city.

There is "no need for concern" after the River Wye in Buxton turned orange, the Environment Agency has said.
The water running through the town turned a shade of orange over the weekend.
Paul Reeves, from the agency, said there was "no need for any concern", adding it was an "occasional phenomena".
He explained it was caused by the release of iron oxides from abandoned mine workings due to changes in groundwater levels.

A council in Nottinghamshire has carried out a review into whether any street names need to be changed in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Gedling Borough Council checked a list of 1,716 street names to make sure they "meet the expectations of our multicultural society".
Staff also checked statues and signs across the borough.
The review did not identify any that needed amending but the authority said it would investigate if any specific concerns were raised.

This was the moment a funnel cloud was captured in Nottinghamshire this morning.
Thomas Daxer said he filmed it at 11:50 near the Boots headquarters car park, in Beeston.
The 38-year-old said: "This is the second funnel cloud I've seen. The first one was in Sawley, in Long Eaton, about 20 years ago."
Funnel clouds are spinning fingers of cloud that reach towards the ground, but never touch it. If the cloud were to touch the ground, it would be a tornado.
Postal worker Sandra Hawksworth said she took a picture of it about the same time while she was working in Kegworth, Leicestershire.
The 56-year-old said: "I was on Langley Drive and thought is it going to get any bigger as it was coming my way.
"It looked a little worrying for a few minutes, but it got thinner and thinner and just disappeared."

A family says they are "devastated" after an antique flute and piccolo were stolen from their late mother's home following her death from coronavirus in May.
Mike Gleaden and his brother discovered a number of sentimental items had been stolen from the house in Ordsall Road, Retford, while moving furniture ahead of the property being sold.
He said the items, which belonged to his late parents, also included two silver watches, a silver cigarette case, silver napkin rings and a silver christening mug.
"I'm absolutely devastated," said the 61-year-old.
"We've obviously had a really difficult year and this just adds to the misery."
Mr Gleaden say the items had been handed down to his parents from his grandparents.
"The flute and piccolo originally belonged to my grandfather, who was a bandsman and stretcher-bearer with the Sherwood Foresters in the First World War and took the instruments with him to France in the trenches," he added.
"They are at least 100 years old and could be quite valuable. They were left to my father as a five-year-old when my grandfather died as an indirect result of being gassed. The cigarette case came back from China from my other grandfather, who was out there with the British Army, so again [it] could be of decent value."
He said they had been shocked to discover the items had been taken from their 88-year-old mother's home as it looked like nothing had been disturbed but they later spotted some keys in the garden.
They believe the burglary happened some time between 22 and 24 July.
PC Poppy Macky said the flute has the serial number 7516 inscribed on it, while the piccolo has 7122 printed on it. The silver tankard is also inscribed "Simon James 12th February 1964".

The Broadmarsh Centre walkway is expected to be back open by the end of August after a £343,500 rescue package was agreed.
The partially-demolished shopping centre has lain dormant since the start of lockdown, with the site now owned by Nottingham City Council after previous occupiers Intu went into administration.
Intu previously closed the walkway for health and safety reasons, with the authority saying its reopening was the council's "first priority".
Maintenance work to allow pedestrians to go through the centre is set to begin this week, and will be carried out by construction firm Sir Robert McAlpine.
Quote MessageThe Lister Gate walkway is an important through route for the city and its closure has been inconvenient for a lot of people. We have had to balance making sure the walkway is safe with the need to get this public right of way reopen and we are now in a position where we can begin work to do that."
