    Emergency services are at the scene in Hoveringham after a car entered the River Trent.

    Nottinghamshire Police said they received a call at about 16:15 to reports of a car "drifting down" the river.

    They said the car is believed to have entered the water on Boat Lane.

    Insp Frank Guddemi said: "This is a live incident and I’d encourage the public to avoid the area."

    A tanker carrying "hazardous chemicals" has overturned on the A50/A38 Toyota roundabout in Derby.

    Police said there was a "minor spillage" and a replacement tanker is on its way to offload its contents so it can be recovered

    The driver of the tanker has reported minor injuries and police are investigating.

    All but one lane have been closed to deal with the spillage.

    A man has been arrested on suspicion of attacking a supermarket delivery driver in Melton Mowbray.

    Leicestershire Police said the Sainsbury's driver was not seriously hurt in the incident in Everest Drive at about 21:00 yesterday.

    A 56-year-old man was detained on suspicion of common assault and released while investigations continue.

    A Sainsbury’s spokeswoman said, "An incident involving a colleague from our Leicester North store took place yesterday evening and we are supporting the police with their investigation."

    A man is wanted by police after he exposed himself to two female runners in Derbyshire.

    Police said the man stepped out from behind a wall near the Gosforth Drive/Pentland Road area of Dronfield Woodhouse at about 20:00 on 12 January.

    It is believed the incident might be linked to several others also reported in January.

    Derbyshire Police said the man was described as being in his mid-30s, of stocky build, with brown, wavy hair and wearing Harry Potter-style glasses.

    Officers said they wanted to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience and not yet reported it.

    Police have closed the A52 in both directions in Derbyshire after a crash involving two vehicles just before 10:00.

    Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were at the scene near Brailsford.

    A new community testing centre to identify cases of Covid-19 among people without symptoms has opened in Derby, external.

    Rapid result lateral flow tests are being used at the city's Riverside Centre for those identified at being at higher risk, including frontline workers who deal closely with the community.

    Derby City Council said the centre was being run strictly on an invitation and appointment basis.

    Robyn Dewis, the city's director of public health, said: "The roll-out of targeted, asymptomatic testing is a welcome step to bringing down rates of transmission in Derby.

    "We hope that the programme will improve protection for vulnerable people by catching asymptomatic cases early."

    Leicester will also see two asymptomatic test centres open this week for keyworkers, external - at the Eyres Monsell Community Centre today and the Adult Education College in Belvoir Street on Friday.

    A woman had £200 stolen when a robber grabbed her arm and forced her to hand over the money as she used a cash machine in Nottingham, external.

    Police said it happened at the corner of Berridge Road and Ewart Road in Forest Fields at about 00:45 on Thursday.

    Det Sgt Lee Cattell said: "Being approached like this and having her money forcefully taken from her, particularly during these quiet and dark hours, was absolutely distressing for the woman.
