Richard Silk became the first person to tee off at a midnight golf charity event at Morley Hayes near Derby.
Players used glow-in-the-dark balls and floodlit greens, with Mr Silk's opening drive coming at 12.01am.
The course believes it was the first to reopen in England under the relaxation of lockdown rules.
The event raised more than £2,000 for the Nottingham Breast Cancer Research Centre.
