On Wednesday, Leicestershire Police said the trio had been bailed pending further inquiries.

Campaigners allege unmanned aerial vehicles built at the facility have been used in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

At least 260 people were killed in Gaza during 11 days of fighting in May.

Palestinians had said they were suffering because of Israeli actions and restrictions, including the threatened eviction of some families in East Jerusalem.

Israel said it was only acting to protect itself from Palestinian violence.

    Local Democracy Reporting Service

A care home in Derby has been rated inadequate and placed under special measures following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Inspectors found staff at Cavista care home in Whitaker Road failed to respect residents’ “dignity and privacy”.

On one occasion during the visit in June inspectors had to physically intervene when staff left a toilet door open.

Other concerns raised by the CQC included leaking ceilings, call bells not working and staff not correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Owners Cavista Ltd said the inspection happened when the company had not had enough time to address its shortcomings due to lockdown restrictions.

A spokesperson said: “We acquired the care home, which was failing, for £1 - things were that bad.

“As soon as we brought it we went into lockdown and inherited a core staff and poor management and I’m pleased to say we got rid of the management and some of the staff who were not up to standard.

“We have pumped £30,000 to turn it around to a more acceptable care home. We are doing everything we can to rectify the situation.”

The home is due to be inspected again within the next six months.
