Manchester Phoenix will only have 14 players available when they take on Telford Tigers this weekend, but the Tigers head coach says they won't be taken for granted.
When the two sides met in the first game of the season, Tigers won 4-1 and Tom Watkins was able to sign GB international Sam Oakford (pictured below) to the squad during the week, so they should be in a confident mood.
Watkins says their opponents will be good at the back, so he is asking his players to push for an early lead to open the game up.
Quote MessageThere’s some quality defencemen and good, solid British guys. They have good netminding and their imports are good, so you always have to be on your guard."

The directors of failed bus firm GHA Coaches have been disqualified from obtaining or holding a public service vehicle operator's licence.
There is no time limit on the Traffic Commissioner for Wales's ban served on Gareth and Arwyn Lloyd-Davies.
The company, which operated coaches on a number of routes in Shropshire and Cheshire, as well as north Wales, closed down in July and 320 people were made redundant.
Quote MessageIn this specific business the precedence that income has been given over maintenance and public safety has been systemic for a period of time. Road safety, the safety of the travelling public and the safety of vulnerable schoolchildren travelling on buses has very much been secondary."

New regulations come into force tomorrow, aimed at preventing a repeat of the baby ashes scandal which occurred at Shrewsbury crematorium and elsewhere around the country.
The Ministry of Justice has brought in a new definition of ashes and says anything that is left following the cremation process must be returned to parents.
The move comes about following a BBC Radio Shropshire investigation that found failings at Emstrey crematorium meant no ashes of children up to one year old were recovered between 1996 and 2012.
A protest over the possible downgrading of Telford's Accident and Emergency department is expected to take place in Wellington tomorrow.
Shropshire Defend our NHS has arranged the rally and march, which starts at 11:00 in Church Street.
The NHS is due to meet next week to discuss the future of hospital services, which could also involve moving women and children's services from Telford to Shrewsbury.

Hot meal subsidies for vulnerable people getting food delivered to their homes are being stopped in Telford, to save the local authority money.
It says numbers have dwindled in recent years and there are only 15 people currently getting the subsidy of £2.65 per meal - costing the authority around £10,000 a year.
The council, which is trying to cut its budget by up to £50m by 2020, says the subsidy will end in January., external
Shropshire's health commissioners say they are relieved that Shropdoc has agreed to run a temporary GP service in Whitchurch, to replace the Richmond House surgery from 1 November.
But the Shropshire CCG won't explain why it approached another private provider first, and only went to Shropdoc after that deal fell through.
Dr Julian Povey, the CCG's Clinical Chair said his organisation wrote to "local practices and providers" initially and that Shropdoc had "been there in the background", but hasn't said why Shropdoc wasn't asked to take on the job sooner.

A motorcyclist who died in a crash near Oswestry has been officially identified.
Scott Roberts, who was 32 and from Great Wyrley, near Walsall lost his life when his bike collided with a car near the Mile End roundabout, on Monday morning.
Now that Shropdoc has agreed to step into the breach and run a temporary replacement for the Richmond House GP surgery in Whitchurch, the search is on for a long-term solution.
Dr Julian Povey, the Clinical Chair of the Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group said his organisation was looking for a new location and that the eventual aim was to merge all three of the town's practices on to that single site.
Dr Povey also explained that the plan was for Shropdoc to have one full-time GP at the temporary surgery at Whitchurch community hospital, but that they hoped to keep the rest of the team as settled as possible, to provide continuity of care.
Quote MessageBoth the other practices are practising from premises that are good and currently workable, but in the long-term we need different premises."
