The Telford Tigers' perfect start to the season is over - they were beaten by Swindon Wildcats on penalties on Saturday.
But they bounced back with a 4-2 win over reigning EPL champions Basingstoke Bison at the Telford Ice Rink.
The two results mean they're now a point behind league-leaders Milton Keynes Lightning.

The leader of Telford and Wrekin council says he is furious at proposals which could result in the loss of emergency services from the Princess Royal Hospital and the closure of the new women and children's unit there.
Councillor Shaun Davies also said he had "very serious concerns" about the make-up of the panel making the recommendations, claiming Telford had been under-represented, and he said the authority will look to make a legal challenge.
The Labour councillor is now trying to arrange a meeting with the chair of the Shropshire and Telford Clinical Commissioning Groups, David Evans and said "the government can afford to give us the money in Shropshire for two A&Es".

The New Saints continued their perfect start to the season at the weekend, with their ninth win in a row.
They beat Camarthen Town 2-1, with Greg Draper scoring twice.
Aberystwyth Town are the next opponents for TNS, who are now eight points clear at the top of the table.
Campaigners angry at the collapse of plans for a new GP surgery in Shropshire have been staging a protest.
Richmond House surgery on Station Road in Whitchurch will close next month due to the lease running out and its doctors retiring or moving on.
But proposals for the 3,800 patients to go to Whitchurch Community Hospital fell through last week.
Other GP surgeries are being asked to accept patients, Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said.
The CCG described the change of plans as "unfortunate" and "disappointing".

A cyclist has suffered serious head injuries, after coming off his bike in Telford.
It happened yesterday lunchtime, on Teagues Crescent in Trench.
The cyclist, believed to have been in his 40s, was flown to hospital in Stoke.
The body reviewing hospital services Shrewsbury and Telford has responded to the claims that Telford will lose its full A&E department.
It has confirmed its "non-financial" appraisal does favour focusing emergency care in Shrewsbury, but says that this review and another review which looks at the financial side of things will go to a board meeting next month.
It says there will then be a period of public consultation lasting at least 12 weeks.

An estimated 35,000 people have been to Bridgnorth since last Thursday, to catch a glimpse of the Flying Scotsman.
The event, held by Severn Valley Railway, saw Flying Scotsman and the Tornado pulling trains between Kidderminister and Bridgnorth.
Some 15,000 tickets for journeys on the Flying Scotsman quickly sold out.

Ten-man Shrewsbury Town held on for a point at Wimbledon in a 1-1 draw.
Town went behind to an early goal after six minutes but struck back through Ian Black 90 seconds into the second half.
Ivan Toney was sent off after getting a second yellow card on 82 minutes but Town held out against a late Wimbledon onslaught to claim a hard-earned point.
A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in Shropshire, police say.
Officers were called to the A5 in Oswestry at 07:20. Sadly, a motorcylist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The A5 is currently closed and diversions are in place.
Health campaigners claim Telford's Princess Royal Hospital will lose its A&E department - with an official announcement due next month.
The leader of Telford and Wrekin Council says if it's true he'll seek a judicial review.
There's been no official word, but the pressure-group Shropshire Defend Our NHS, external thinks the plan will be rubber-stamped early next month.
It says health officials intend to close the A&E, move maternity and childrens' services to Shrewsbury, despite a new centre opening in Telford two years ago and transfer most routine surgery and tests from Shrewsbury to Telford.

The A5 is closed in both directions between B5009 and The Mile End Roundabout near the British Ironworks Centre due to an accident.
Reports from the scene say police are diverting traffic away from the area but other routes are now getting busy too.
