The Let's Rock 80s music festival is coming to Shrewsbury.
Tickets have gone on sale this morning for the event at the Quarry, which will take place on 27 May and feature Billy Ocean, ABC, Tony Hadley and Shropshire's own Carol Decker (pictured below) among the acts.
Let's Rock is also staging events in London Bristol, Norwich, Leeds, Exeter, Southampton and Cookham in Berkshire and is one of a number of brands running 80s events in different towns each year.

Anne Spratt reminded us that it happens all over the country, writing: "This happens a lot here in Kent - I put on boots and strong rubber gloves and sorted through one lot near our village, found envelopes with name and address on! Passed onto council and police who took action."

The A44 in Leominster is back open after this morning's collision between a HGV and a house, say the fire service.
