Motorists are being warned about an increase in the number of agricultural vehicles and mud on the roads, as farmers work to bring in the harvest.

West Mercia Police says there have been 65 collisions across Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire involving farm vehicles, since the start of 2015.

It's more obvious when they take their helmets off, but the point they are making is that women can be firefighters too, and the service is trying to recruit more.

At the moment only 6% of firefighters in the county are women and a series of taster days have been arranged, with the latest due to be held at Market Drayton fire station on Saturday 16 September.
