    Police searching for a missing man from Rotherham who hasn't been seen for two weeks have issued a new CCTV image of him.

    Daniel Higgs, who's 32, was seen here in a fast food store in the town centre on the 23 November. Police say he's in urgent need of medication and his family are very worried about him.

    A man has been jailed for life after being found guilty of murdering a former friend in a "violent and brutal attack".

    Lucas Bigley, 19, stabbed Matthew Wilson, also 19, to death in Sheffield on 28 May.

    Hull Crown Court head the two men had fallen out after Mr Wilson began a relationship with Bigley's mother.

    Bigley, of Wadsley Lane, Sheffield, was told he must serve a minimum of 22-years.

    Chesterfield director Ashley Carson says he is confident the club will avoid going into administration.

    The club's future was put in doubt when five board members, including chairman Dave Allen, resigned in November.

    Carson said Allen has agreed to continue to provide support until "a suitable investor" is found.

    Louis Tomlinson's mother has died from leukaemia aged 42.

    Johannah Deakin passed away on Wednesday at Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

    Earlier this year she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of the blood cancer and had been in hospital in London since May.

    She had seven children and worked as a midwife. Her partner Dan said in a statement that "she would always look to put other people before herself".

    Sheffield's Ski Village - which closed in 2012 following a series of fires - could become a ski centre again.

    The council is looking for investors to help transform the derelict site. Ideas include returning skiing to the area and developing a downhill mountain biking centre.

    Louis Tomlinson's mother has died aged 42. 

    Johannah Deakin had been suffering leukaemia and was cared for at University College London hospital from May, before being moved to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield for the last few weeks of her life.

    A statement has been issued by a family representative:

    Earlier this year Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukaemia that required immediate and continuous treatment. We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private"

    Her husband Dan Deakin has paid tribute to his wife, calling her "incredibly selfless" and a "truly amazing mother".

    The mother of One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has died aged 43, her family have confirmed.
