    The family of Steven Cook have shared a touching tribute on the Facebook group dedicated to finding him, external., external

    "Today we have learned that after over 11 years our much loved and missed son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend will be finally coming home to be with us once again.

    "Whilst we always carried hope in our hearts that Steve would come back much sooner and once again be able to share in our lives the laughter, love and happiness that he brought in the 20 years he shone amongst us, sadly we will be bringing him home to say our farewells.

    "Knowing that Steve is now coming home is an end to all of that and the fog can lift at last."

    The statement went on to thank the police for all their help.

    It's quite the puzzle, Weston Park's own website, external , according to its address, is in Shropshire with a Telford postcode.  

    Its main phone number is also a Telford area code.

    Looking on this Shropshire Council boundary map, external , it would seem Weston Park is half inside the boundary and half outside. 

    Everything to the left of the blue line is within Shropshire's boundary.

    So I guess in answer to your question, it is both.

    It has been confirmed human remains found in a Greek holiday resort are those of a man from Sandbach who's been missing since 2005.

    Steven Cook was 20 when he disappeared in Malia in Crete while on holiday. 

    Cheshire Police say, external  forensic tests have confirmed that remains recently found in a well in Malia are his. 

    It says it is supporting Steven's family, and working with the Greek authorities to return him to the UK as soon as possible.

    Firefighters are tackling a house fire in Talke following an explosion at the property.

    Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service says the front window has been blown out on Lodge Road (pictured) and multiple crews are at the house which was "well alight" on arrival.

    It's not clear whether anyone has been injured.

    The 29 year old Stafford woman killed when she was hit by debris during Storm Doris in Wolverhampton has been called a "shining star" by a colleague.

    Katharine Clough, director of external relations at the University of Wolverhampton, where Tahnie Martin worked, said: "We feel privileged and honoured to have worked alongside Tahnie.

    "She was one of our shining stars, a talented and creative marketing professional with an enthusiasm and smile which were infectious.

    "Tahnie was extremely popular and will be hugely missed."

    The new Labour MP for Stoke-on-Trent Central says his first job will be trying to sort out the financial situation at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

    The woman killed when she was hit by debris during Storm Doris in Wolverhampton was with two colleagues who were taken to hospital with minor injuries, according to their employer, the University of Wolverhampton.

    It said a "number" of her colleagues were with her when she was struck in the city centre yesterday, adding the injured two had since been discharged.  

    Tahnie Martin, 29, was a member of the university's external relations directorate and worked as faculty of arts marketing manager, covering maternity leave.  

    Ms Martin, who lived in Stafford, started work at the university last August and, according to her employer, was due to start a new job there next week, having recently secured a permanent post as a postgraduate marketing manager.

  17. Storm Doris death: Police investigating building from which 'wooden roofing' came published at 13:45 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2017

    Police say Tahnie Martin, 29, died in Wolverhampton city centre after being struck by "wooden roofing" during Storm Doris yesterday.

    The West Midlands Force has not said from which building the "large piece" came.

    Detective Inspector Paul Joyce said: “We are still trying to ascertain who the building belongs to and whether there is any criminal liability."

    Ms Martin is from Stafford and worked at the University of Wolverhampton.

    Police have named the woman who died after being hit by debris from a roof in Storm Doris yesterday as Tahnie Martin.

    The 29-year-old, who was struck near a branch of Starbucks in Wolverhampton city centre, was from Stafford and worked at the University of Wolverhampton.

    She had been walking along Dudley Street with colleagues when, police say, she was hit by "a large piece of wooden roofing".

    She was pronounced dead at the scene.
