A woman in her 60s has been seriously injured after being hit by a carport roof in Stoke-on-Trent during Storm Doris, the ambulance service say.
It happened just after 14:00 off Hartshill Road in Hartshill, and paramedics believe the roof fell onto her, which then knocked her into a wall.
West Midlands Ambulance Service say she's suffered a serious head injury, as well as injury to her face, arm and chest, and is being treated at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Polling stations are open until 22:00 GMT in two Parliamentary by-elections.

Staffordshire Police is advising people to take extra care on the roads due to the high winds, and all rail lines are blocked between Crewe and Warrington due to an electrical failure.
This is the fallen tree causing disruption on the M6 Northbound near Penkridge.
