The family of midwife Samantha Eastwood have thanked people for their support , externalfollowing her death, promising "her memory and legacy will live on".
The 28-year-old's body was found in Caverswall, Staffordshire, on Saturday, eight days after she was reported missing.
Michael Stirling, 32, of Gratton Road, Bucknall, is accused of Ms Eastwood's murder and appeared via videolink at Stafford Crown Court - the next hearing is scheduled for October.
In a statement released today, her family said she always wanted to be a midwife "from the age of 12" and released a photo of her after she graduated.
Sixty firefighters continue to battle the blaze on The Roaches in Staffordshire.

Staffordshire Police says Stoke-on-Trent is facing a possible public health crisis,, external unless the problem of the drug known as Monkey Dust, or MDPHP, is tackled immediately.
The force is currently dealing with up to 10 calls a day about the drug and have dealt with 950 cases related to it in the past three months alone.
The force says it needs to work with other organisations within the city to tackle the problem, which it says has been ongoing for the last two years.
West Midlands Ambulance Service has also acknowledged the problem, saying there's a risk of it becoming a city-wide epidemic.
One senior paramedic, Steve Rust, tweeted that, external their staff in Stoke-on-Trent "are now dealing with this problem on a daily basis".

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust has thanked firefighters dealing with the blaze, external at its Roaches nature reserve and reminded people to stay away from the area.
It's not yet clear how it started, but the fire service has faced a huge number of wildfires in recent months.

A woman's been praised for her "brave and selfless actions" after she dragged an elderly man from his burning home.
The house fire was reported to the fire service on Wednesday evening on Gilman Street, Stoke-on-Trent and left an upstairs bedroom completely gutted.
When fire crews arrived, they say they found the woman with the 66-year-old man outside and both were given treatment by paramedics.
The service says it thinks the man was smoking in his bedroom when it set some of the room on fire and, because of his poor mobility, he could only get downstairs before needing rescuing.
About 60 firefighters remain at the scene of a major fire in the Staffordshire Moorlands which has been burning for nearly 18 hours.
Crews were first called out at about 13:30 yesterday to a patch of land off Roach Road in Upper Hulme.
Staffordshire Fire Service said the wind picked up overnight which made the flames spread, and they've now brought back the extra crews to continue tackling it.
Yesterday evening the area was evacuated and one person was treated for smoke inhalation.
Residents nearby are being advised to keep doors and windows closed.

They say a big plume of smoke has blown into the county across the Peak District from a fire in Staffordshire.
Firefighters there are tackling a large moorland fire at Upper Hulme, which started yesterday afternoon.
Over a dozen fire engines are currently dealing with the blaze.
An area about 1,000 sq m is affected and people are being told to avoid the area.

A large wildlfire has broken out in the Staffordshire Peak District, closing part of Roach Road, in Upper Hulme.
An area about 1,000 sq m (2.5 acres) is affected, said Staffordshire Fire & Rescue, which has about 25 firefighters at the scene along with rangers.
People are being told to avoid the area.

Three of the biggest NHS trusts in the West Midlands have seen thousands more people going to their A&E units this summer compared with last year, according to new figures., external
Attendances across England soared in July, with health bodies saying the heatwave had added to existing pressures on the NHS.
They say there were reports of more people turning up with dehydration, heart failure and kidney problems related to the unusually high temperatures.
The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust saw the largest rise of the trio, with a total of 20,594 going to their emergency unit in July 2018, a rise of 4,112 on July 2017.
There were also increases of 2,260 for the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, to a total of 23,552; and 1,454 for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, reaching a total of 18,240.
The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust's figures did rise by 26,034 across the same period, but the trust merged with Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust during that time.
