    If you've used Ipswich Railway station recently, you'll know that a major improvement scheme, external is under way.

    Among the changes to the station are a new layout, which aims to provide better access for buses and taxis.

    As you can see from these photographs, work's begun on the improved pedestrian access, which will include a drop-off point and disabled parking.

    Abellio Greater Anglia say the work will be completed by the end of the year.

    Ipswich Town midfielder Jonathan Douglas is currently enjoying his best spell of a form in a Town shirt and has told BBC Suffolk he wants to build on that.

    Following an indifferent first season at Portman Road, the 33-year-old has come good of late, shining in the Blues' new-look three-man midfield.

    "Obviously it's tough coming into a different team with different formations and a different way of playing and it takes time to gel," said Douglas. 

    "There's a lot more to come from me and I'm sure there's a lot more to come from the team."

    The 33-year-old was the subject of fans frustration last season as he came to terms with life at a new club.

    "You're aware of it (criticism)," said Douglas. "It's hard, when you're on social media, not to read about it, but it's part and parcel of being a footballer."  

    "When fans aren't happy we aren't happy because it means we're not getting three points and putting in performances that we're capable of."

    AFC Sudbury's, external never-say-die attitude extended their unbeaten start to the Ryman Premier Division season to six games yesterday.

    Midfielder Robert Eagle scored in the 95th minute to secure a 2-2 draw at Lowestoft Town, external.

    "I didn't think we deserved much from the game," admitted Sudbury boss Jamie Godbold (pictured). 

    "Marcus [Garnham] kept us in it with the saved penalty, but credit to the boys who showed some character by keeping going until the last minute and getting their rewards."

    The family of Martin Thrower, rector of Hadleigh, Layham and Shelley, has issued a statement following his arrest on allegations of voyeurism.

    Pauline Thrower, Martin's wife, said: "It is with great sadness that we find ourselves in the situation we are now in. 

    "Whilst this has come as a shock to us as a family we are all supporting Martin with unconditional love at this difficult time."

    Suffolk Police said: "A male from the Hadleigh area was arrested on 4 August over allegations of voyeurism and  bailed to a date in October."

    The Very Reverend Martin Thrower, rector of Hadleigh, Layham and Shelley and rural dean of Hadleigh has been arrested on suspicion of voyeurism, and released on police bail.

    The arrest was first reported by the East Anglian Daily Times, external.

    John Howard, spokesman for the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, said: "He has been suspended from all offices within the diocese until further notice. 

    "We have made arrangements to look after his church duties and to offer support to his parishes at this difficult time.

    "We will make no further comment while the police investigation is ongoing. Our thoughts and prayers are very much with everyone affected by this situation."

    Lowestoft Town, external boss Ady Gallagher believes the contrasting fortunes of last season had a bearing on yesterday's 2-2 draw with AFC Sudbury, external.

    "The reality was that there was a slight difference in the mentality of the two teams," he said.   

    "Sudbury, last year, have had a great season and are used to winning games and with that comes a little bit of confidence and you never feel like you're going to get beat."  

    "Whereas our mentality is a bit tougher after coming down. We need to be mentally stronger and be more clinical in the right areas of the pitch."
