    Good morning.

We'll be looking at news that fares have doubled for a school bus service in the county, with parents saying the increase is too steep.

We'll also return to the scene of a major blaze yesterday, which destroyed the shop part of Bramfield Meats, and led to around £100,000 worth of meat being lost.

But we'll start the day with a look at what the weather has in store for us. It's been a misty morning in places, as illustrated by this photograph taken by one of our colleagues:

    Kate Williams
    BBC Local Live

Admissions to the Patrick Stead Hospital in Halesworth have been stopped amid concerns that nursing shortages could affect patient safety.

East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH) blamed uncertainty about the hospital's future as a reason for problems keeping and recruiting new staff.

The healthcare company and the Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group, which commissions the services, will review the situation on a monthly basis, and will begin readmitting patients if the situation improves.

Jonathan Williams, chief executive of ECCH, said: “This decision has not been easy to make but the safety of our patients and staff is our number one priority.

"Staffing at Patrick Stead Hospital has reached a critical level. This is primarily due to the uncertainty around the future of the hospital following last year’s public consultation into health services in the area which earmarked the hospital for closure. This has created considerable problems with keeping existing staff and recruiting new staff.

Inpatients will no longer be admitted from 1 October.
