That's it from me today but there'll be more updates throughout the afternoon. Thanks for being with us this week. Have a great weekend.
Here's five things we've found out in North Yorkshire today:
- More than 200 people turned up at a public meeting last night pledging to continue their fight to save Scarborough's Futurist Theatre from demolition
- Plans for appartments at Terry's chocolate factory in York have been given the go ahead
- The Dales "bookseller from hell" has been defending his behaviour
- A man who reportedly punched an ambulance worker who was trying to help him has been arrested and is in police custody
- York singer Beth McCarthy who appeared on TV's The Voice has for the first released a single she has written and performed
