    Mark Beaumont
    BBC Queen’s Baton Relay presenter

Such a fantastic turn out and atmosphere in Coldstream - I arrived at 05:30 and people were already out along the street.

It was such a lovely moment and real privilege to row the Queen's Baton down the River Tweed with local ghillie Brendan Lough. He said it would be a good morning for fishing!

After over eight months on the road with the Queen's Baton, it's great to see it finally in Scotland.

When I left at the start of October, the Games were something people weren't really talking about as it felt far off on the future, and I have come back to Scotland to find a real buzz and a sense of the final build up.
