    That's all for today's Queen's Baton Relay Live. There's been some fun and games on the road to Hawick.

    Alexandria Clough's successful attempt to get the police escort dancing in Duns was so good we just had to make it our main image at the top of the page.

    The baton went mountain-biking at Glentress, and also met "Numeracy Guy", Earlston High's very own superhero.

    The Queen's Baton Relay will start again tomorrow at roughly 07:30 BST in Langholm, before moving across Dumfries and Galloway.

    Stops on the road to Stranraer include Eastriggs, Dumfries, Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright and Newton Stewart.

    The baton will be present at a marriage at Gretna Green, where actress Ashley Jensen will be a baton bearer.

    Once again we'll be covering the relay as it happens, with a live video stream and updates throughout the day.

    Megan is a Youth Legacy Ambassador for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

    What do the ambassadors do?

    According to the Scottish government the youth legacy scheme aims to involve young people in "securing a lasting and positive games legacy for them and their community".

    Megan is committed to making sure the Borders is well represented on the national stage and has lead regional 2014 games activities.

    Baton bearer Roy Laidlaw is unlikely to drop the baton. The former scrum-half has 47 Scotland caps, and was also a British Lion on four occasions.

    Today Roy has swapped his rugby kit for a rather fetching kilt.

    Rae supports her younger brother who has learning difficulties, and is currently working towards her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. She also dedicates much of her free time to coaching at Peebles Judo club.

    Richard Kenney has emailed to share his experience of carrying the baton earlier.

    He says: "Loved doing the baton relay at Tweedbank earlier this afternoon despite recovering from a hip op and having to use a crutch! Wouldn't have missed this no matter what. The Borders was such a lovely venue today and the sun made it a perfect day for all of us."

    The convoy is in the outskirts of Jedburgh, where the relay will resume. The first baton bearer will be Stacey Downie.

    We're experiencing some fine weather here in Glasgow and think it's the warmest day we've had all summer.

    Peter Sloss from the BBC Weather Centre has confirmed our suspicions.

    He says: "Central Scotland has had very warm weather over the past three days with Glasgow seeing 26.1C yesterday, the highest temperature in Scotland this year so far.

    "Temperatures could reach 27C today in parts of Scotland, making it the hottest day of year in the UK."

    Thankfully it's not so hot for the baton bearers.

    "The baton route is not where the highest temperatures have been so although some fine, warm weather, not the peaks we are seeing in the Central Lowlands northwards. For example the Borders today are seeing about 22/23C," Peter adds.

    Another supportive email has arrived, this time from Allan McGee's fellow volunteers at Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team.

    Fourteen-year-old Fraser is a very promising sportsman. A keen cyclist, he has also represented Kelso at swimming galas. Fraser is a member of the local Scout group, and helps with events and fundraising activities.

    The first baton bearer is squash player Frania Gillen-Buchert who represented Scotland at the Melbourne 2006 and the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games.

    After coming out of retirement, Frania was among the first set of Scottish athletes chosen to compete at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

    Yesterday, Vanda Dow carried the baton into Cockenzie and Port Seton. She would like to thank all her family and friends who supported her.

    She emailed: "I am so honoured to be given this opportunity. Also thank you to our Cockenzie Primary School for bringing a lot of the children out to support us all."
