    Elaine Whellans is described as "incredible fund raiser" - after her son fought cancer for three years, she has worked tirelessly for charity.

    Including a gruelling expedition in Africa, climbing Kilimanjaro and raising over £14,000.

    The baton will be carried through Duns, Greenlaw, Earlston, Melrose, Tweedbank, Selkirk, Kelso, Jedburgh and Hawick.

    In Melrose, the baton will visit the ground of the rugby club - known worldwide as the home of rugby sevens.

    The baton will also visit Selkirk Rugby Club during its time in the Borders and will go off track with some mountain bikers in Glentress.
