    That's all for today's Queen's Baton Relay Live. It has been spectacular and sunny day in southern Scotland.

    The baton dropped by a wedding in Gretna as the happy couple, Sally Eastmond and Damone Barnes, posed for photographs.

    Star of Extras and Ugly Betty - Ashley Jensen - also carried the baton in Dumfries and Galloway.

    The baton then took a trip across Carlingwark Loch in Castle Douglas in a canoe.

    We finished the day in Stranraer, where boxing hero Willie Irving did the town proud, carrying the baton to the delight of his family and the crowds.

    Are looking to find out where you can watch the baton when it reaches Glasgow and the west coast? Then we have a handy guide for you.

    The baton will reach the west coast tomorrow as it travels around South Ayrshire with a family event in Ayr's Low Green Park ending the day's proceedings.

    The relay will then travel all round Scotland before eventually reaching Glasgow on the 20 July.

    Willie Martin's enthusiasm for boxing helped him receive a number of nominations to carry the baton. He is the founder of the successful Bravehearts Amateur Boxing Club and he trains with the Scotland squad most weekends.

    "He's helped transform the face of Dumfries, pulling youngsters from the street and into the gym," say the people who nominated Willie.

    Ted Norfolk is one of the first people to run with the baton in sunny Stranraer.

    He was described as a "national treasure" by the people who nominated him. A volunteer with local schools and youth groups, Ted set up a cycling club to help improve the lives of young people in disadvantaged parts of Scotland.

    We have had lots of emails from baton supporters in Dumfries and Galloway today.

    Josh emailed: "It has been an amazing day. Starting early this morning marching through the town with Langholm Town Band and Langholm Pipe Band then playing Highland Cathedral in front of Langholm Town Hall.

    "I wish it was happening all again tomorrow."

    Rebecca Watson sent us this picture of Shelby Watson being handed the baton this morning also in Langholm.

    She said: "Two of Shelby's team mates from Red Star Athletics are actually part of team Scotland and competing in the commonwealth games so this is something very personal for her.....and she even brought Clyde along at the back of her chair :)"

    Paul Gorman was nominated for a his prolific volunteering work across Southern Scotland. Not content with helping out at football events for Galloway Thistle, he also volunteers at Newton Stewart gala and is an active member of the Galloway Peer Project - a scheme for young learning disabilities.
