    Sandra Watt, who was a baton bearer in Melrose yesterday, sent in this picture with the message: "Had a great time. Thanks!"

    Meanwhile, Sarah Burns emailed in to say: "Nicholas Burns, 31, is taking part in the Stranraer leg of the torch relay today.

    "Nick was chosen to baton bear as he has volunteered in the local Marie Curie cancer shop for over 10 years and for his work as a volunteer porter at Stranraer hospital."

    As you may have noticed Ashley Jensen has been travelling in a horse and cart in Gretna.

    The couple in the carriage are Sally Eastmond and Damone Barnes. They met in Tesco 10 years ago and are getting married in the town later today.

    The BBC spoke to them to discover what they thought about the baton playing a role in their big day.

    Langholm Town Band and Langholm Pipe Band just performed Highland Cathedral for the large crowd before baton bearer David Stevenson continued the relay.

    The image at the top of the page shows the Commonwealth Games 'gemstone', and comes courtesy of Glasgow 2014. The gemstone is held at the very top of the Queen's baton, and is made from granite sourced from Ailsa Craig. A gemstone was gifted to every nation and territory the baton relay visited.
