The baton left Stewarton and will shortly be arriving in Kilmaurs.

Earlier, we reported the impromptu stop the baton made to welcome a group of cyclists who had gathered at the side of the road to see the baton relay vehicle convoy.

Great cheers in Stewarton for the baton bearers. It is another lovely day in the sun for the Queen's Baton.
Natasha, from Stewarton, was nominated to carry the baton by a number of groups including the Kilmarnock Rotary Club.
She is being recognised for her work as a volunteer and her successes in swimming and athletics.
Joan, from Ardrossan, was nominated as a baton bearer for her work with a swimming club for people with disabilities. She is also a coach with the Kilmarnock Jets Swim Team.
Kelsey Caldow, from Kilmarnock, is a health and wellbeing volunteer.
She featured in the BBC's Local heroes, an article highlighting the stories of some of the baton bearers.

In an impromptu moment during the drive through Ayrshire, the baton was greeted by a group of cyclists.
The convoy stopped and everyone had an opportunity to hold the baton.

The relay has stopped for a short break and will next be in Stewarton.
It'll then travel to Crosshouse at about 15.40 BST and Kilmarnock at about 16.30 BST.

Helen Frame emailed in to say: "Attached is photo of East Ayrshire's first baton carrier of the day - my cousin Alan Brown with his boy Charlie and his mum May. Unfortunately Alan's dad died last month so missed out on his son's big moment.
"Proud as punch of Alan - he does such a lot for the kids of our local communities and well deserved this honour."

Scott Martin was nominated for his work with the Kilmarnock Harriers club. The athlete and coach has represented Scotland at cross-country running.
Gillian Johnstone carries the baton in Mauchline. Her story is truly remarkable.
She won East Ayrshire Disabled Sport Person of the Year award and has secured a place Scottish Disability Sport national squad in 2013. The people who nominated the 16-year-old say "Gillian displays great courage and enthusiasm in everything she does".
Hopefully we will bring you some footage later of Gillian talking to BBC News about her experience with the baton.
Laura Robertson has raised lots of cash for charities through sporting activities over the years.
In 2009 she took part in the New York marathon, raising £14,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society in the process.
Her supporters were wearing "Baton down the hatches here comes Laura" t-shirts as she ran through Mauchline with the baton.
