The baton has been taken to the top of the National Burns Memorial tower in Mauchline.

The baton started in Dalmellington. It also travelled to New Cumnock and Cumnock.
Other locations included Mauchline, Galston, Stewarton, Kilmaurs, Crosshouse and Kilmarnock

The baton has been taken to the top of the National Burns Memorial tower in Mauchline.

The baton managed to meet another kind of queen as the relay joined the celebrations at Cumnock Gala Day.
Claire Johnston will compete at Glasgow 2014 as part of Team Scotland's Lawn Bowls team. We were certainly bowled over by her performance during the relay celebration in her hometown Auchinleck this morning.

Great turnout in Auchinleck as Martin McLelland walks with baton.
Martin was recently awarded East Ayrshire Young Volunteer of the Year, he is described as an "excellent role model, who has made a massive positive impact on the lives of many children and families".
Baton bearer David Loy has made a tremendous contribution to the village of Auchinleck, according to the people that nominated him.
The 84-year-old has been the treasurer of local junior football team Auchinleck Talbot for many years.
We have just arrived in Auchinleck.
Look out for Team Scotland's Claire Johnston who will be one of the final baton bearers.
Shona was nominated for her dedication to netball and for encouraging young people in Ayrshire to take part in the sport.
Shaun McCluskey is prolific volunteer, offering his free time to help out at Rowantree Sheltered Accommodation for the elderly, teaching primary school pupils to use the guitar and helping out at the local hospital radio station.
George Scott has raised thousand of pounds for Ayrshire Cancer Support, with the people who nominated him saying: "He has thrown everything into his charity work".
George has competed in the London and Edinburgh marathons and has recently taken part in a sky-dive.

The Queen's Baton Relay is the curtain raiser for next month's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
After visiting Commonwealth countries in Asia, the baton enjoyed some sunshine as it travelled through Oceania, Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean, before making its way back to Europe.
At the end of the relay, the baton will have travelled more than 118,000 miles (190,000km) in 288 days.

New Cumnock's outdoor pool is playing host to the baton just now - it's packed.
The pool is one of three open-air facilities in Scotland and was kept open by the community after being threatened with closure.
