    That's all from Queen's Baton Relay Live for today.

    It's been a long one today - it was nearly 13 hours ago that Bashir Hasham was the day's first baton bearer in St Mary's.

    The relay then crossed to the mainland, and saw some fine weather as it worked its way down to Dingwall from John O'Groats.

    The day's - and Dingwall's - final baton bearer is Mark Lee.

    Mark has captained Scotland's rugby sevens team in both the Commonwealth Games and the World Series. He also led the British Army team to victory in the 2011 Defence World Cup.

    Liz has given nearly 30 years of her personal time and commitment to developing gymnastics in the Highlands.

    The driving force behind the very successful Highland Schools Gymnastics Association, she encourages children of all abilities to get involved in the sport.

    Rose founded Strathspey's Learn To Swim programme, which gives children - no matter their age or ability - access to swimming.

    She has spent an enormous amount of her own time coaching young swimmers and, in the words of those who nominated her, is the local community's "swimming superwoman".

    Eleanor completed the Land's End to John O'Groats cycle in 2012 and, aged 61, took part in her first triathlon a year later. She is heavily-involved in event fundraising for the Strathpeffer Pavilion.

    Looking great in his kilt, thirteen-year-old Matt MacFarlane has just carried the baton in Alness.

    Matt is a member of Inverness Harriers, regularly training in track and field events.

    Aged 10 he took part in a duathlon (a 12 mile walk followed by a 10 mile cycle) to raise funds for a heart charity.

    The strong turnout in Alness is no surprise after the emails we've received concerning its baton bearers.

    Anthea McGlennon has been in touch regarding her son James Taylor. She says:

    "James was born with club feet and was in plaster casts and calipers up to the age of seven, when he started kickboxing. He also has ADHD so has overcome many adversities over the years.

    "James has competed for his country all over the world. He holds numerous titles including double Scottish champion, and he obtained a hard earned bronze medal in the world championships.

    "He is an inspiration to us all, he never gives up and he now spends his time passing on his knowledge to the members of his club both young and old."

    Gemma gained the title of Platinum Young Ambassador after providing coaching in hockey, football and athletics. She is "inspirational to the younger pupils in her community" according to those who nominated her.

    The relay has now left Tain, where Lizzy Burke was the final baton bearer.

    The baton is now back on the bus and the convoy is heading for Alness. It should arrive shortly after 17:00 BST.

    A pipe band played in the background as Eileen Russell passed the baton to John Waring.

    John went over to the band and performed a little Highland dance with the baton. Let's hope he didn't "fling" it!
