    Ms Mitchell became the first Holyrood politician to speak publicly in favour of the UK leaving the European Union.

    Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson supports the UK remaining in the EU.

    But Ms Davidson has also made it clear that other Tory MSPs are free to take a different view.
