Two women were carried to safety by south Wales fire crews after their car became stuck in water at Kenfig Hill, Bridgend.

Sennybridge near Brecon in Powys is way ahead - @bbcweather says there's now 30cm of snow there - that's just shy of a foot of snow. The next deepest snow is Hereford - at 17cm.

St John Cymru Wales volunteers have been helping Welsh Ambulance Services staff get to patients in the Gwent valleys, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Powys and north Wales areas.
They have been using 4x4 vehicles to provide medical assistance to patients in hard-to-reach locations.
