    Charity Marie Curie estimates it could lose £400,000 in donations because of the weather.

    The Great Daffodil Appeal runs through March, with volunteers collecting on UK streets to help people with terminal illnesses.

    But 30 have been cancelled across Wales today alone, including at Cardiff’s St David’s Day parade.

    Swansea University is the latest to close due to the bad weather. All lectures have been cancelled from 14:00 and both campuses will stay shut until Monday.

    If you're just getting up to speed, Wales' first red weather warning for snow comes into effect at 15:00 GMT and lasts until 02:00 on Friday.

    The Met Office says some roads are likely to be blocked by deep snow, stranding vehicles and people.
