Despite the snow, most roads remain open at present. The following roads have succumbed to the weather:
- The A470 between the B4391 and A487
- The A542 Horseshoe Pass between the B5103 (Llangollen) and A5104 (Llandegla)
- Mountain Roads over Mardy, Bwlch and Rhigos in Rhondda Cynon Taff

The coldest part of the UK overnight was Kinloss in Moray, Scotland,where the mercury dipped to -10.3C.
Scotland had the three coldest spots in the UK, but the fourth was Tredegar's Bryn Bach Park in Blaenau Gwent where it was -9.4C.
