    Wind has brought down a large tree on power lines just south of Waunfawr in Gwynedd.

    Engineers say most of the area from south of Waunfawr towards Llyn Cwellyn has no power - and that it could take the rest of the day to restore it.

    Tracey Davies, from Cwmbran, says she had to get her husband Sion rescued after he became stranded for about five hours near Ross-on-Wye.

    He had been travelling home from Birmingham and she was able to track his location on her phone and find a hotel.

    "I rang the hotel, asked for a room and asked them if there was anyone who might be able to help rescue my husband," she said.

    "Thankfully, a very kind man called Tom agreed. He first tried to rescue him in his 4x4, that failed so Tom went back and got his tractor to take him to the pub."

    Stranded vehicles and snow have caused the M4 to close eastbound at junction 32 at the Coryton Interchange, Cardiff.

    The Welsh Government says a small number of vehicles - mainly lorries - have been abandoned or parked between junctions 26 and 32.

    Two lanes of the Second Severn Crossing are also shut due to a jackknifed lorry.

    Businesses are starting to feel the full effects of the weather.

    Mel Evans, the owner of Mid Wales Travel in Aberystwyth, has told BBC Radio Cymru's Post Cyntaf programme that the bad weather is costing the company £5,000 a day.

    The company has two buses in Bournemouth waiting to bring passengers back to Swansea.
