Quote MessageWe're over the moon. Obviously we were disappointed coming out of the Isle of Wight game... we picked ourselves up, turned it round and we played some really good football today, back to winning ways.
Libby Barnett, Jersey midfielder
On two goals from Captain Eve Watson inside the first six minutes Barnett said: "We wanted to set the tone and getting an early goal was important... we were able to settle our nerves a little bit then the goals just kept coming."
Our sports editor Tim Pryor caught up with Stuart Black who has represented both Jersey and Guernsey in the Island Games.
He represented Jersey in the the 2005 island games for swimming, but later picked up Volleyball.
For family reasons he moved to Guernsey before the 2015 Island Games, but still represented Jersey.
He said it was difficult and expensive to train in the last games, as he had to travel across the islands every week.
He now proudly represents Guernsey in the Volleyball.
Quote MessageIt's very difficult to sit on the sidelines and cheer. I'm wearing green and white so obviously I'll be supporting the green army, but at the same time i'll be supporting Jersey. It's a silly little argument the islands have.
It was a tight finish in the Women's 4x100m Freestyle Relay, with Guernsey claiming bronze.
