Yaya Toure Twitter abuse investigated by police

Police are investigating complaints Manchester City footballer Yaya Toure was racially abused on Twitter within hours of reactivating his account.
The 31-year-old midfielder rejoined the social network on Monday, five months after leaving it to concentrate on his involvement in the World Cup.
But within hours of his first post, the Ivory Coast international received a string of abusive and racist messages.
Anti-discrimination group Kick It Out reported the matter to the police.
Toure's tweet reflected on City's derby win over Manchester United on Sunday.
He wrote, external: "Great to be back on twitter after a good win yesterday. Now my focus is on the next game... Happy Monday everyone!!"
Greater Manchester Police said it had received "a number of complaints".
Following the reports of the abuse, Toure tweeted, external: "Thanks for all the welcome back tweets and support. Shame about ignorant minority. #StillFocused".
Last season the Ivorian was subjected to racist chanting during City's Champions League away game at CSKA Moscow.
